It’s been a while since we’ve published a comparison article, long enough for a new challenger to make itself known!

AQUM Browser is an anti-detect browser from Ukraine that stepped onto the scene in February of 2024. It claims to be up to any multi-accounting task and attracts fence-sitters with an intriguing forever-free tier.

Will that be enough for AQUM Browser to shake up the market, or does the service still need some time in the oven? Let’s take a thorough look at the upstart and see how its features, user experience, and pricing compare to an old hand like GoLogin.

TL;DR: You’ll find a comparison table that covers all the main points in the Final Thoughts section.

AQUM Browser – First Impressions On The Newcomer

AQUM Browser welcomes you with a serviceable landing page that explains its use cases and highlights features like an extensive fingerprint database. Account creation and installation are straightforward. The AQUM Browser desktop app updates automatically at first launch.

Profile & Proxy Setup

The interface is clean and functional. Still, a newbie might not know what to do from there since there are no explainer pop-ups or onboarding tools.

aqum browser

You can set up new default profiles with a single click. Manually creating profiles lets you pick between Windows 10/11 and MacOS, set up a hardware combination with a wide selection of GPUs, import bookmarks, assign a proxy, and more.

aqum browser

AQUM doesn’t offer proxies as part of the deal, so you’ll have to cover that yourself. The Proxy tab is the place to add new and configure existing ones. Copy-pasting proxy info in the Host field will fill everything in. Convenient but still not as simple as GoLogin’s built-in proxies.

aqum browser

Closing AQUM shuts it down instead of minimizing to the system tray. It does give you a heads-up on saving any changes before exiting. However, you’ll likely turn that notification off and might lose precious data if you forget how AQUM behaves.

Organization & Mass Actions

Adding tags or rearranging profiles according to age, name, etc., is handy once your list starts growing. You can’t rearrange them by dragging and dropping, though. Folders are a no-go, too, meaning AQUM Browser isn’t ideal for scaling up operations or team-based segmentation.

aqum browser

Mass actions are available yet limited. You can start multiple profiles or assign tags and proxies. A bit more basic than we’d have liked. Still, it does help with organization.

Fingerprinting

AQUM Browser profiles emulate Windows and MacOS. Linux is also present but grayed out. There’s a free app you can use with Team and Professional plans intended for team member management or communication. Logging on to AQUM’s website provides an overview of your plan and lets you change account settings. There’s no cloud functionality – you do everything from the desktop app’s dashboard.

aqum browser The GPU selection is all jumbled up. At least there’s a search bar!

The developers make a big deal of AQUM’s ability to pass fingerprinting scans. That’s a crucial consideration for any anti-detect browser use case, whether you’re a privacy-focused single user or a business that needs to scale up data gathering or marketing efforts without the hassle of getting flagged or restricted.

Reputation & Technical Support

This is usually the part where we’d point out any dodgy reviews or other inconsistencies with a browser’s online reputation. There’s almost nothing to report on AQUM in that respect because it has practically no online presence.

Nothing pops up if you search for AQUM on TrustPilot, G2, or Capterra. The few testimonials on the home page look generic, and we couldn’t verify them.

The broader community isn’t aware of AQUM – searching for it on Reddit only brought up a bunch of stuff related to aquariums. There are a couple of review videos on YouTube, but both “reviewers” read from the exact same script and don’t tell you much about AQUM’s functionality.

Official sources don’t help either. There’s an Instagram account with a few followers that posts only in Ukrainian. The mobile app has nine reviews on Google Play, with two nonsensical written ones.

aqum browser We used IPhey and Pixelscan to check for fingerprinting inconsistencies. AQUM Browser managed to pass both scans without issues.

The Support button on the website has you message the customer support team via Telegram. The response times are reasonable, but working hours are 9 AM to 9 PM Kyiv time. Perfect for users based in Europe, not so great if something goes wrong for an LA startup at 2PM and they can’t fix it until the next day.

GoLogin – The Established, Feature-Rich AQUM Browser Alternative

AQUM Browser covers the basics well enough, emphasis on basics. A long-standing, trusted alternative like GoLogin might look similar at first glance. Yet, experienced users and businesses operating on a large scale will get much more out of it. Let’s see how the two stack up feature-wise and compare what investing in each gets you later on.

GoLogin User Experience & Features

If GoLogin has nailed anything, it’s turning people without any anti-detect or proxy use experience into competent users. The journey starts at account creation, where you can select the services and websites you’ll use the browser for.

gologin

Launching the desktop app brings you to the intuitive interface already populated with a handful of profiles based on your previous selection. Apart from setting each profile’s proxy to a desired geographic location, they’re good to go. You can buy a proxy from the dashboard if you don’t want the defaults.

Organization is another GoLogin standout. You can freely rearrange profiles or declutter the dashboard by creating a folder system. This streamlines team efficiency since you can assign folders to team members for more effective management and collaboration.

gologin antidetect GoLogin’s comprehensive mass actions

A minor nitpick with AQUM’s Tags is that they’re small and only have a colored dot to distinguish them. GoLogin’s Statuses are larger and have colored outlines, so they’re easy to tell apart.

System & Technical Support

The mobile GoLogin app is fully fleshed out, letting you manage as well as use profiles on Android and iOS. There’s also the option to log into the cloud version. This can be useful when you need access from a device you don’t regularly use or in the event of sudden system failure.

You have several options to exhaust before contacting tech support. AQUM Browser has a barebones FAQ that addresses only a few questions about subscriptions and profile editing. In contrast, GoLogin maintains FAQ and troubleshooting sections and links to useful resources like browser fingerprint scanners. They also have a YouTube channel with tutorial videos on using multiple accounts with different programs and services.

If those don’t help, you can reach out to 24/7 customer support and get competent answers there.

Reputation

GoLogin is the clear winner when it comes to online presence, not that AQUM put up a fight in that respect. It’s hard to gauge if an anti-detect browser no one is vouching for is a good fit for your use case. To hesitate is natural, especially for first-timers.

gologin review A typical example of the GoLogin customer experience

You don’t have to trawl the internet to find credible reviews from actual GoLogin users, let alone basic information on the company. A quick search reveals people consistently praise its ease of use and customization options. The website suggests it’s a good tool for social media management, e-commerce, or data gathering. Real-world user professional positions and sentiments reflect this.

AQUM vs GoLogin – Pricing Comparison

Free Plans & Trial Periods

A “free forever” plan is one of AQUM’s selling points for indecisive users. It’s understandably limited, providing only five profiles and the simultaneous use of two proxies. It’s not possible to add team members or transfer profiles either. Still, this option might be enough for a small-time social media manager who has to handle several accounts on a single platform.

GoLogin’s mobile app offers a similar option, albeit with three profiles. Luckily, there’s a 7-day unrestricted trial. Offering one is a sensible approach since small businesses and enterprise clients alike can evaluate the browser based on real-world needs.

Paid Plans

The “Starter” tier gives AQUM a small leg up since GoLogin has no equivalent. It includes 50 profiles and 15 saved proxies without access to more advanced features for $20/month. This tier reinforces AQUM’s position as a viable provider for small to medium-scale operations.

aqum browser

“Personal” is comparable to GoLogin’s “Professional” tier. You get 130 profiles for $60 vs 100 profiles for $49. AQUM Browser remains stingy with its extras, whereas you already get goodies like REST API integration and a single profile launch via the cloud in GoLogin’s plan. Proxy use is also unlimited.

The next tier marks a decisive shift in GoLogin’s favor. Its “Business” plan offers 300 profiles and collaboration with up to 10 team members for a reasonable monthly payment of $99. AQUM Browser counters with 350 profiles and unlocks API automation but offers support for only three team members at $160/month.

gologin price

It’s safe to say there’s no contest when looking at the last non-custom tier. For $199/month, GoLogin customers at the “Enterprise” tier can leverage 1,000 profiles and share them as many times with a team of 20. A client with similar needs would have to pay $300/month at AQUM Browser and only get 200 profiles extra for a team of no more than eight. That’s also the price point GoLogin’s “Custom” tier starts at, with a 2,000 profile minimum.

Long-term commitment will save you a pretty penny in both cases. Paying for a year in advance actually puts GoLogin even farther ahead since your tab is 50% smaller compared to AQUM’s 30%.

AQUM’s developers have managed to create a competent anti-detect browser for users with modest requirements. However, it’s clearly not on par with GoLogin in several key areas.

GoLogin presents an easy-to-use veneer that easily gives way to in-depth customization and advanced options once the user is ready. AQUM is straightforward to use but also easier to exhaust. Pricing at higher tiers is a major misstep, especially if you consider the lack of social proof that might make prospective clients reconsider.

If it successfully overcomes its growing pains and introduces more competitive pricing, AQUM might become a competitor to watch out for in the future. GoLogin is ready to meet your professional needs regardless of scale today.

How To Run Multiple YouTube Accounts: 2025 Guide & Tools

If you manage multiple YouTube accounts as an agency or freelancer, you’re probably familiar with the hassle of accessing your client’s accounts, forced logouts, re-verification checks, and juggling multiple client accounts across multiple browser tabs. YouTube allows multiple accounts per user, but it does keep track of the device IPs that these accounts are used on. If you jeopardize one of your accounts, you can risk a ban or restrictions on other related accounts as well that are managed on the same device IP. In this guide, I’ll explain how to manage multiple YouTube accounts on the same device, the methods I tried, and the fixes I found. I’ll also walk you through a step-by-step tutorial for my recommended method.
