What are Gologin Proxies

Gologin proxies are IP addresses integrated directly into the Gologin browser. When a proxy is attached to a browser profile, it defines where your internet traffic comes from and helps websites see each profile as a separate, real user. This approach prevents websites and platforms from linking multiple accounts together based on IP address data and reduces the risk of blocks, restrictions, or security checks.

Built-in Proxies vs Custom Proxies

Gologin supports two ways to use proxies, depending on your needs and experience level.

• Built-in proxies Built-in proxies are provided and managed by Gologin. They are ready to use, require no external setup, and work seamlessly with our browser fingerprinting system. They are the best option if you want a simple, stable, and fast setup without dealing with third-party services.
• Custom proxies Custom proxies are purchased from third-party providers and manually added to Gologin. This option gives you more flexibility in choosing proxy providers, locations, and proxy formats. These are better suited for advanced users who need more control over their proxy infrastructure.

Built-in proxies are ideal for simplicity and reliability, while custom proxies offer more control for advanced setups.

Types of Gologin Proxies

Depending on your plan and needs, Gologin may offer different proxy types, such as:

• Residential proxies – real user IPs, suitable for most platforms
• Mobile proxies – IPs from mobile networks, useful for higher trust environments
• Datacenter proxies – faster and cheaper, but easier to detect

Each type fits different tasks and risk levels.

Important: Gologin proxies are rotating

Gologin residential proxies automatically rotate IP addresses every 5-30 minutes. This means your IP will change during a browsing session. This is fine for:

• Web scraping
• Short browsing sessions
• General research

When NOT to use built-in proxies

• Amazon and eBay detect when the same account logs in from different IP addresses over time. They use this as a signal that an account is being managed by a third party or is part of a multi-account scheme. A rotating proxy changes your IP on every session — exactly the pattern they flag.
• LinkedIn logs out sessions and triggers security reviews when it sees an IP change between sessions. Built-in proxies will cause frequent logouts and verification prompts.
• Betting platforms require consistent IP addresses per account. An IP change is treated as suspicious login activity and often leads to account restriction.
• PayPal and financial platforms flag IP changes as potential account compromise. They may freeze the account or require identity verification.

What to use instead

About the included traffic allowance

Each Gologin plan includes a proxy traffic allowance measured in gigabytes. This is the data that passes through the proxy while your profiles browse — not storage. Rough estimates:

• Light browsing (checking feeds, reading pages): ~0.3–0.5 GB per profile per day
• Active work (loading media, running ads): ~1–2 GB per profile per day
• 10 LinkedIn profiles used 2 hours/day: ~3–6 GB per month

If you connect your own third-party proxy to a profile, it does not consume your Gologin traffic allowance — only traffic routed through Gologin’s own proxy network counts.
