Traffic-based proxies

How do I choose the proxy type?

To choose the proxy type for your new connection, just create a new proxy server by clicking Choose location or proxy on the profile > arrow next to the country > Add new server > choose the proxy type.

How much traffic do I need?

The required amount depends on your use case. It mostly varies based on:
  • How often you use your browser profiles
  • How long your sessions last
  • How much heavy content (such as videos, images, or audio) you load while working

What happens when I spend all my proxy traffic? Will I get detected?

If your traffic elapses mid-use, Gologin just disconnects your profiles from the internet and you won’t be able to use them until you top up the traffic or swap to a third-party proxy. You will be able to close the profiles without data loss, as the profile sync don’t use proxy traffic.

If I use my own third-party proxies, do I spend Gologin proxy traffic?

Of course not! You spend Gologin proxy traffic only if you use our proxies.

Dedicated IP

What’s the difference between ISP proxies, static proxies, and Dedicated IP?

Nothing - they’re three names for the same thing. You may see all of them used around the web. In Gologin, the feature is called Dedicated IP.

What is a Dedicated IP?

It’s a single IP address reserved for you and nobody else. It comes from a real internet provider but is hosted in a data centre, which gives it the speed and stability of a data centre proxy while looking like an ordinary home connection to websites. It never rotates and has no traffic limit.

I’m on an annual plan. Why was I charged more than $5?

A Dedicated IP is tied to your main subscription and always ends when it ends, so you pay for the months you have left. If your annual plan has 7 months remaining, you’re charged $35 up front. An incomplete month is billed as a full one.

I paid, but I don’t see my Dedicated IP proxy anywhere

It takes 5-7 minutes for the address to be assigned to your account, and there’s no notification when it’s ready. Wait a few minutes and refresh the Proxies page - it will be there.

Does a Dedicated IP use my plan’s proxy traffic?

No. Traffic through a Dedicated IP is unlimited and doesn’t touch your GB allowance. Even if your allowance runs out completely, profiles on a Dedicated IP keep working.

Do I still need proxy traffic if I have a Dedicated IP?

Only for profiles that use our rotating proxies. If every profile you run sits on a Dedicated IP, your traffic allowance simply goes unused.

Will my IP stay the same on a Dedicated IP?

Yes. As long as your subscription is active and renewing, you keep the same address.

I paid with crypto - will my Dedicated IP renew?

No. Crypto payments can’t renew automatically, so the IP works for the period you paid for and then stops. You won’t be able to get the same address back afterwards. If you want to keep an address long-term, pay by card.
