Are proxies also shared?

Currently, only the proxies that are set to the profile are shared. The proxy list of the workspace owner is not shared, you’ll need to share them with your team members manually.

Sharing profiles

I get a “You’ve reached max shares number. To share more update your plan”

That means you’ve reached the limit of the available shares on your plan. You can learn more about how many shares you have on your plan here under the Profile Shares section.

Can I purchase more shares for my plan?

At the moment, it’s not possible to purchase additional shares separately. If you need to share more profiles, we recommend using Workspace or Folder sharing instead.

Can I free up shares?

Sure! You can remove some of the existing shares to free up the space for the new ones.

Does my VA or team member need their own paid Gologin account?

No. You can invite team members to your workspace, and they can access shared profiles using a free Gologin account. On Business plan and above, you can add paid team member seats with more granular permissions. As a workaround on Professional plan: share individual profiles with users who have free Gologin accounts. They will be able to access and run those specific profiles.

What can a view-only user see?

View-only users can see profile settings including proxy configuration. Note: they can also see all saved proxies in your proxy list dropdown. If proxy credentials are sensitive, consider using a separate workspace.

Does the person I share with need to install Gologin?

Yes. They need to install the Gologin desktop app (or use the web version at app.gologin.com) to open and run shared profiles.

Can I limit what my team member can do in a profile?

Yes. When sharing a profile, you can assign one of three roles:
  • Can run — open and use the profile, but not change any settings
  • Can edit — run, clone, and modify profile settings
  • Full access — everything including the ability to re-share the profile
For most agency and VA setups, Can run is the right default.

Can I share profiles with a client without them seeing how it works?

You can share profiles with a client using the Can run role. They’ll be able to open and use the profile but won’t be able to change fingerprint settings, swap proxies, or clone profiles. However, they will be able to see the proxy address in the settings. If you need to hide your proxy setup from a client, consider using the workspace approach and managing the proxy setup yourself without sharing full profile access.
