January at Gologin was focused on practical improvements that directly affect day-to-day work with browser profiles. Throughout the month, we released several updates for the Android app, the Beta browser, and the Saturn desktop version. The main focus was on more reliable profile behavior, improved proxy handling, and more convenient session management.
Below are the key changes introduced in January.
Android App: Smoother Sessions and Faster Profile Access
During January, the Gologin Android app received several practical updates aimed at making profile behavior clearer and more predictable in everyday use.
- A new View button was added, allowing you to quickly switch from an active profile directly to the Orbita browser.
- We also improved the profile launch logic: proxies are now correctly passed to the browser every time a profile starts, and when a new profile is launched, the previous one is automatically closed.
- Search history is now stored separately for each profile, making it easier to work with multiple accounts simultaneously.
To improve proxy control, we added a non-working proxy indicator, and the Based on IP option is once again available in the Timezone settings.
In addition, we fixed WebGL and Timezone masking issues, resolved profile launch problems (including on Android 8), improved cookie handling, and corrected the display of remaining proxy traffic.
Beta Browser: Expanded Compatibility and Stronger Protection
The Gologin Beta browser also received updates in January. It now correctly plays protected video content, including Netflix and other streaming platforms, which is especially important for your working with such services.
We also fixed a real IP leak when using SOCKS5 proxies and improved the stability of the Paste as Human feature – hotkeys now work more reliably.
It’s worth noting that the Beta browser is now always available for selection when creating a profile. This is where the latest and most up-to-date improvements appear first.
Saturn: Updates for More Stable Daily Work
In the Gologin desktop app, we simplified the process of getting started with new profiles. The Enable Google Services option is now enabled by default when creating a profile, saving time during initial setup.
We also redesigned how proxy traffic is displayed: the remaining traffic balance is now always visible directly in the profile. You can purchase additional traffic with a click, and a notification appears when the remaining balance drops below 500 MB. This helps better control usage and avoid unexpected interruptions.
In addition, we improved session restoration via the Profile History window, fixed platform detection based on the selected device and operating system, and resolved issues that occurred when working with a slow internet connection.
Additional Materials
In January, we also released a new video about browser session management and published several articles dedicated to working with profiles, browsers, and multi-account scenarios.
