Today, as part of my comparison series, I will look at a small browser with a noticeable share in the US market – Ghost Browser.
GhostBrowser is not a typical antidetect browser: it’s designed to be user-friendly for total beginners who just want to launch several accounts. It’s a basic tool for handling small amounts of daily work, ideal for those who aren’t tech-savvy.
TL;DR I’ve gathered the main points of comparison into a quick table at the end.

Ghost Browser: Non-Technical Heaven
The website is pretty much outdated, however the browser itself feels well maintained. There are lots of guides, tooltips, videos and explanations on every step you could possibly take.
Everything is clearly made for a non-technical person.
Ghost Browser allows the user to skip the standard sign up and login process to use the free version, which has surprisingly good features. Account login is used only for premium plans.
The free plan has good functionality with some limitations. For example, a proxy can be used for a Workspace or an Identity, but not for separate tabs.
Identities and Tabs
Ghostbrowser looks almost exactly like Chrome, with a left side bar and some Identity / Proxy control buttons in regular Chrome extension area. I need to admit I learned this UI scheme pretty fast.

Similar to Sessionbox, Ghost Browser offers a multicolored tab system, which looks better than in Sessionbox to my taste. If you’re using under 10 accounts, this will be a good fit – but nothing more.
You can launch any amount of tabs from any identity, as long as they fit 1 Chrome window (which is 25 at best).

Scaling even to 30 accounts will be close to impossible here due to natural colored tab system limitations. For this reason Ghost Browser will be best for small or personal use.
It doesn’t seem made for larger tasks or advanced usage, nor was it designed for this purpose.
Comfort of Use & Features
So, Ghost is not a good fit for managing a large number of accounts. Mass actions are non-existent, as well as mass launch. Automatic proxy assignment, however, is present – a great safety feature.
A safety pop-up also made it clear the update to recent version is absolutely necessary.
Tabs and Identities can be grouped and then organized into workspaces for teamwork. Temporary Identities as well as a Quick Tab performance system are also present.
Your regular Chrome profiles, extensions and even saved passwords can be easily imported into Ghost Browser. Like I mentioned, everything looks and works exactly like Chrome. You will have to remember to open a new tab from the exact identity you want, but after that it’s a painless transfer.

Ghost Browser supports a standard OS set: Windows, MacOS and Linux.
Proxy Integration
Ghost Proxy Control offers standard, straightforward proxy management with an intuitive UI. Proxies can be added one by one or in bulk, as well as bypassed. Only 1 IP per identity can be used on Free plan.
Overall it’s all pretty intuitive.
There is also a unique feature allowing to see if a proxy will work for a specified website. Single and bulk testing of proxies is available.
There is an extensive proxy market right inside the browser (called Pick A Proxy). It contains brand reviews, ratings and even a use case filter – a priceless thing for a new social media manager dazzled by proxy types.
No built-in proxies are offered.
On the whole, I found Ghost Browser’s proxy management to be pretty decent and extensive for a free plan tool.
Passing Checkers
Unfortunately, Ghost did not pass Iphey or Pixelscan checkers with a default new profile and third party proxy, showing inconsistency on Fingerprint and Timezone side.
The newest available user agent was Chrome 132 which is quite outdated at the time.
There are no advanced browser fingerprint settings at all, which is a negative point. I know Ghost Browser is not made for advanced use, however I doubt it will be safe for advanced social websites like Reddit or Linkedin.
Still, Ghost Browser has a good reputation considering safety of user data. The tool has never faced personal data breaches (unlike Dolphin Anty, Adspower or Incogniton) – credit to Ghost Browser team.
Overall Verdict: Ghost Browser is a simple, user-friendly tool based in the US. It is very intuitive and natural, good for basic everyday social work when you simply need to check on several accounts, not create hundreds of them. It won’t fit if you have ambitious business plans.
GoLogin browser – next level alternative to Ghost browser
At first glance, Ghost Browser seems quite similar to GoLogin in terms of overall functionality and interface.
However, GoLogin is well suited for both solo use and professional teams of any size due to more advanced functionality. It’s not compromised by easy UI: there is an advanced browser fingeprinting engine, leading the market of antidetect browsers.
Let’s compare Ghost Browser to GoLogin, and at the end take a look at prices and rates.
Features and comfort of use: what’s new in 2025
GoLogin is better optimized for new, non-technical users.
Unlike Ghost, GoLogin supports one-click profile creation. It is a massive time saver compared to most alternatives – including Ghost Browser.
Nothing needs to be adjusted somewhere, including the proxy for each profile. Both profile and proxy creation take only one click.

Under the hood GoLogin has a better level of features with less limitations. Unlike Ghost, GoLogin has:
- A 7-day free trial of paid features
- More advanced fingerprint settings
- Built-in free and paid proxies right in the browser
- 2Gb Proxies included in all paid plans
- Mobile app and web version with cloud-based profile launching
- Timely updates on the tech side of things for best safety
- Passing browser fingerprint checkers.
GoLogin offers a customizable profile control panel, allowing users to simply drag and drop both columns and profiles. Profiles can also be grouped for easier access.
GoLogin is well suited for large amounts of profiles thanks to mass actions and running the profiles in separate windows. Even a very large team can be organized here without any hassle.
The number of proxies, tags and notes on profiles is unlimited. There is a separate Proxy section to operate the proxy IPs in bulk.
Proxy Integrations
GoLogin offers high quality built-in proxies inside the app.
Apart from standard Residential IPs, GoLogin also offers decent quality Mobile proxies, which is a great plus. All paid plans include 2Gb of Residential traffic renewed every month.
This saves users from a lot of hassle looking for IPs.

Mobile app and web version
Unlike Ghost, GoLogin has a web version, which can be accessed from any of your devices. From there, you can launch and edit profiles without a computer: they will work on a safe cloud server. GoLogin is also available as an Android app.
For comparison, you can download Ghost browser only for Mac and Windows, as well as for Linux.
Support quality
GoLogin support team quickly responds to all user requests and tries to help in any situation. Support is available for all plans 24/7 over Live chat, email, Messenger, Telegram and Whatsapp.
GoLogin managers conduct user campaigns to collect customer feedback and suggestions, making browser updates as relevant as possible.

In their feedback GoLogin users ofter say their problems were solved by chatting with the team or through browser updates.
Updates frequency & Reliability
The GoLogin team updates the browser quite often and does everything necessary to keep user data safe and take user needs into account. Updates are automatic: you just need to restart the browser.
Clients often praise GoLogin for the stable profile work in 24/7 mode without downtime. The 99,9% uptime factor over 2022-2025 is often the reason why users move from other antidetects to GoLogin. The built-in proxies come from a world class USA based provider and have a 99,99% uptime rate over 2024 and 2025.
Let’s move on to the final part of the comparison: plans and pricing.

Ghost Browser vs GoLogin – Pricing
Free plans and trial periods
Ghost Browser offers an impressive forever free plan with 3 identities and limitations on proxy IP use – you can’t use separate IPs for each tab. Paid features cannot be tested. Free plan can be used without getting an account.
GoLogin offers a forever-free plan for 3 profiles + trial of paid features for 7 days with no restrictions when registering an account.

Paid plans
The paid plans for Ghost and GoLogin are difficult to compare: Ghost offers unlimited Identities on Basic plan, clearly meaning you will not even use 50 of them. Still, let’s count the costs for each.
Ghost’s first paid plan (Basic, unlimited Identities) will cost you from $21 per month (annually only). The monthly price is not specified: looks like it’s not meant to be used. This plan does not include proxy management: we have not tested it to see how proxies are controlled there.
GoLogin’s first paid plan (Professional, 100 profiles) costs $49 per month ($24 per month annually). It includes 24/7 support, 2Gb built-in proxies, profile sharing and transferring as well as running profiles on the cloud server. The amount of IPs, tags, notes and profile launches is unlimited.

Team plans
Ghost’s Pro plan will cost you from $46 per month (annually only). The upsides of this plan are not too obvious from the pricing page: for example, it’s not too clear what is Browsing from multiple countries. If it is basic proxy browsing, then I don’t quite get the idea behind the paid plan.
GoLogin’s Business and Enterprise (300 and 1,000 profiles) will cost you $99 and $199 per month. Both these plans are tools for larger scale marketing agency businesses.

Overall, Ghost Browser is hard to actually compare to GoLogin because it’s naturally limited by its own work scheme. While it is a simple day-to-day tool for social accounts, GoLogin is also able to be a powerful digital agency tool.
Ghost Browser vs GoLogin: Summary
Both GoLogin and Ghost Browser will suit well for non-technical people. There are no excessive technical adjustments in both, almost everything is automatic.
GoLogin offers better security, being overall more advanced on safety level and offering more protection with timely updates and high quality built-in proxies. It will also allow scaling to a larger amount of accounts, especially if you’re an affiliate or an SMM manager.
I prepared some questions to help you choose the best antidetect for your situation:
- How many browser profiles do you need?
- Do you need to share profiles with partners?
- How much are you willing to pay for a program to work?
- Does the browser have a good reputation? What do reviews and forums say about it?
- Can you test the browser for free? If yes, which one suits you best?
To summarize the comparison, I have made a brief table of pros and cons so that you can compare browsers on your own.
