RoxyBrowser vs GoLogin: Honest Review 2025

Other than GoLogin, few players in the anti-detect browser market attract customers through innovation. Savvy newcomers know they need to offer something more to stand out.

The Singapore-based RoxyBrowser debuted in 2024. On top of offering the standard features anyone interested in web scraping, traffic arbitrage, or other tasks anti-detect browsers make possible, it introduces synchronization and makes it easy to create different profiles with distinct sets of extensions.

However, are RoxyBrowser’s fundamentals developed enough to endanger an established anti-detect browser like GoLogin? Our in-depth review provides all the answers!

TL;DR: Alternatively, the table in the verdict section will help you make an informed choice.

RoxyBrowser – The Innovative Upstart

First Impressions and UI

RoxyBrowser’s polished landing page makes a case for why you need an anti-detect browser and covers common use cases like e-commerce and ad arbitrage. Download and account creation are straightforward since you can do the latter from within the launcher. We were ready to go after a short update.

RoxyBrowser

The dashboard is functional and conveys a lot of information visually. For example, icons next to profiles let you know at a glance which OS, proxy, and platform account each profile is set up for.

Clicking on Display opens a drop-down menu for rearranging parameters and adjusting their visibility. While not as robust as GoLogin’s version, it’s enough to create a custom overview of the information that’s most important to you.

Refresh lag is a slightly annoying aspect of the UI. Let’s say you’re adding a tag. Normally, you’d create one or select from an existing list and it would update instantly.

With Roxy, you have to select the tag first, then click away from the pop-up window, and then wait for a few seconds while the UI updates. It’s not a big deal, but the extra clicks and time spent idling can add up.

Profile Creation

Users have a lot of agency during profile creation. Newbies will likely be overwhelmed by the number and diversity of options, so they shouldn’t tinker with most until they gain experience. The default settings will do for most needs.

The Accounts section is useful when you want to tie a profile to a social media or seller account and simplifies copy-pasting the relevant information. It’s also possible to set up a profile and save it as a template for others.

Advanced fingerprint settings allow experienced users to tinker with different fingerprint aspects like hardware concurrency, device memory, or the canvas. You can add and test a proxy at the profile creation stage or set them up / import them separately later.

Extensions and Synchronization

RoxyBrowser has extensive support for extensions, making it easier to customize different profile types for various tasks. You can import your favorite extensions or use RoxyBrowser’s suggestions. These include useful tools like ad blockers, password managers, or form fillers, just to name a few.

RoxyBrowser extensions

Clicking on an extension’s Download button opens a menu where you can choose which projects to apply the extension to. Projects are RoxyBrowser’s equivalent to GoLogin’s folders.

Synchronization is a unique feature a version of which we’ve only seen used by the GeeLark cloud phone. Turning it on and launching several profiles allows you to perform an operation in one, and it will be mimicked in the others. Synchronization could be extremely useful for automating tasks like liking posts or conducting website QA.

Fingerprint Masking

We tested RoxyBrowser’s desktop and mobile profiles with mostly positive results. While fingerprints on IPhey and Pixelscan were consistent for both profile types, we had intermittent trouble with location spoofing.

Our proxy would work as intended most of the time only to be detected by Pixelscan some of the time. Results to keep in mind if your work relies on IP addresses from a specific part of the world.

Reputation & Customer Service

RoxyBrowser has a presence on all the major review aggregators, on some more than others. While many of its 5-star reviews seem to be written by AI, the ones that look real also praise the browser’s user-friendliness and features. Minor complaints include the lack of a mobile version and tutorials.

Indeed, there’s no documentation or knowledge base, so newbies need to look for third-party explanations on YouTube. RoxyBrowser does have a YouTube account. And ones for X, Instagram, and TikTok as well. They’re all inactive, though.

RoxyBrowser is based in Singapore, and its support staff works 10 AM – 5 PM local time. Great if you’re in Asia, not so much for European and especially American customers. There’s no working hour overlap with the latter, meaning it might be a while before any potential problems get resolved.

GoLogin – The Consistent Anti-Detect Browser Mainstay

Even a browser with a feature set as strong as RoxyBrowser’s could still learn a thing or two from GoLogin. Let’s explore what the latter does better.

User Experience

Experts in affiliate marketing or crypto trading aren’t necessarily proficient in using an anti-detect browser for their multi-accounting needs. A comprehensive onboarding process makes GoLogin a logical choice for newbies since it helps them set up their profiles and dashboards for an optimum workflow from the start.

Users get access to proxies in five countries as part of their subscription, eliminating the cost and hassle associated with third-party proxy setup. Native proxy inclusion doesn’t prevent you from using others, though.

Most importantly, GoLogin’s comprehensive fingerprint masking settings ensure profiles have no trouble passing scans and being detected as unique whether you use default settings or your own.

Gologin proxy settings

GoLogin’s dashboard customization surpasses Roxy’s. There are more parameters to display or omit, allowing you to create a sparse overview to monitor thousands of profiles or track several parameters like proxy type or sharing status.

Moreover, GoLogin’s interface is more responsive. Every action takes a couple of clicks at most, you can rearrange profiles freely, and feedback is instant even if you perform complex tasks like managing mass actions.

For example, Mass Actions panel has a lot of options, but it’s not cluttered or heavy to use.

Teamwork Features

GoLogin is equally responsive whether you work solo or with others. Administering teams is role-based and straightforward. The admin can designate what profiles and folders other users can view or manage, simplifying work and clarifying individual responsibilities.

Admins may also create individual workspaces for different projects to keep them separate and organized. They can freely add or remove team members from these workspaces while monitoring everyone’s activities.

Platform Support

RoxyBrowser is available for MacOS and Windows, while Linux support is in the works. Linux users can take advantage of GoLogin’s anti-detect features right away. Better yet, Android device owners can use GoLogin on the go through its Android app without sacrificing the depth and flexibility of its desktop features.

Apart from an online dashboard providing an overview from anywhere, GoLogin offers profile cloud launches. This feature is helpful when you want to test profiles or check up on tasks but don’t have access to your usual desktop.

RoxyBrowser vs GoLogin – Pricing

Trials & Free Plans

It’s rare for anti-detect browsers other than GoLogin to offer both a free trial and a free tier, but RoxyBrowser is such an exception.

RoxyBrowser trial

Its free trial lasts seven days. Activating it unlocks ten profiles, unlimited projects, and the Synchronizer feature. GoLogin is more generous, as users can experiment with hundreds of profiles and team features during its 7-day trial.

After a week, RoxyBrowser reverts to the standard free tier. This limits you to five profiles and three projects. GoLogin lets you work with three profiles. Either way, users who manage only a handful of social media accounts or run a few e-comerce stores may find this to be enough.

Paid Plans

RoxyBrowser

RoxyBrowser’s pricing strategy is a bit unintuitive, so let’s break it down. It uses a sliding scale where the more profiles you sign up for, the cheaper the price per profile. There would be nothing strange about this if the price reduction didn’t apply only to new profiles.

RoxyBrowser pricing

For example, you can get as few as 10 profiles for $0.80 each. 50 profiles cost $0.25 each, while going with 100 drops the price to $0.20 apiece. Conventional wisdom dictates that a tier that supports 100 profiles should therefore cost $20.

However, RoxyBrowser’s “Basic” plan costs $28 instead because you’re paying the full price for every tier. That’s $8 for the initial 10 profiles, $10 for 40 profiles at $0.25 each, and $10 for another 50 profiles that cost $0.20.

RoxyBrowser pricing plans

The price per profile keeps dropping as payment plans progress, but this strategy persists. Why does pricing have to be so confusing? Why not offer fixed rates like almost any other anti-detect browser and save people the headache?

Moreover, this is just the price for profile, log storage, and API call frequency increases. If you want to unlock RoxyBrowser’s team features, you have to pay $5 extra per team member and $10 extra per workspace.

GoLogin

Thankfully, you don’t have to have a PhD in math to figure GoLogin’s pricing strategy out. Everything is laid out transparently in the pricing section, and you may pay extra only if a tier’s default number of supported team members doesn’t meet your requirements.

Gologin pricing

RoxyBrowser only has a price advantage when comparing its “Basic” to GoLogin’s entry-level “Professional” plan. Both support 100 profiles, the difference being that GoLogin offers app access and a single cloud profile launch. It also places no restrictions on API calls. RoxyBrowser’s plan costs $28/month, GoLogin’s is $49/month.

Access to 300 profiles with RoxyBrowser is available for $58/month. However, this does not include workspaces and team member support. You’d have to pay $60 more – $10 for a workspace and $50 for 10 seats – to match what GoLogin’s “Business” plan offers at $99/month.

GoLogin’s “Enterprise” plan is even more enticing than RoxyBrowser’s “Business” alternative once you account for workspace and team member costs (here it’s the third tier, unlike the second-tier GoLogin plan of the same name).

Both providers entice customers to sign up for a longer term through discounts. RoxyBrowser’s are more granular, offering 15% off for 90 days, 25% for 180 days, or 40% for 360 days. GoLogin ups the ante by offering a hefty 50% discount for its annual plans.

RoxyBrowser vs GoLogin – The Verdict

First of all, here’s the table we promised.

Comparison Criteria RoxyBrowser GoLogin
Free plan
Free trial of paid plans
Feature-rich
Beginner-friendly
Country of origin 🇸🇬 🇺🇲
Update frequency
Affordable paid plans
Comprehensive customization
Mobile app
Profile cloud launch
Free in-app proxies
Trusted reputation

As you can see from both the table and our review, RoxyBrowser is among the more promising GoLogin alternatives we’ve reviewed. Its UI isn’t hard to master, profile creation is comprehensive, and Synchronization is a stand-out feature with a lot of potential.

Even so, some issues prevent RoxyBrowser from meeting GoLogin on equal footing. Newbies have to fend for themselves since there are no official learning resources.

Proxy use wasn’t problem-free either. Finally, the convoluted and fragmented pricing scheme punishes clients whose multi-accounting use depends on teamwork.

RoxyBrowser’s developers can make it more appealing by simplifying the pricing structure and investing more in promoting their product. If they also make support available 24/7, they may become one of GoLogin’s more serious rivals. Until then, the original remains the better choice.
